Ever since Steve and I have been married when we go on "vacation" I never have to drive any more. This has been such a nice bonus being married... BUT, on this particular Vacation I had to drive on the way down. Steve had just gotten off of working a 24 hour shift from the fire department and was up all night on a GRASS FIRE! He was so beat! We pulled into his Mom's and met up with everyone to convoy down. I got to drive from Salt Lake City, UT to St. George, UT. This was the first time I had done this in the 14 years we have been married. I did well and other than a couple of back seat drivers....(Steve's MOM and then Steve slept but he did say I drive like I'm driving Miss Daisy....) Steve's Mom road with us in our Durango and stayed with us in our Hotel on this trip.

We spent the first night in Mesquite and got to swim in the pool and just relax from the long drive with all the kids. The next morning it was on to VEGAS BABY!!! 2008 Summer Vacation Las Vegas, NV It was a lot of fun. We walked the Vegas Strip went into a few different Hotels to show the kids and went to M&M World and the Coca-Cola shop. It was lots of fun but ohhh so VERY HOT!!! While we were there it was 112 ohhh it was too hot for me. While in Vegas we attended Steve's sister Ekko's wedding. We took the kids to Circus Circus for Gracie's Birthday after the Wedding and while we were there Steve won some money about $150.00 total!!! Overall this was a really nice enjoyable week in Vegas!
