The BEST EVER Carrot cake.....made by NICHOLE

OK...I have to apologize to my little sister Nichole! On Mother's day we had sooooo much food and sooo many yummy desserts that I FORGOT to put down her YUMMY CARROT CAKE!!! It was seriously the BEST CARROT CAKE EVER!!! (I even have to say better than my MOM's...sorry MOM) She decorated it so cute with frosting carrot flowers! She is so clever and artistic! I so wish I was more like that :) Thank you NICHOLE for the delicious carrot cake! I'm requesting that you make it for my BIRTHDAY CAKE for this JUNE 14th.... TEE HEE HEE!!!! Love you tons Duckie

Introducing our newest family member....HOUSTON

For Mother's Day I/we as a family ended up getting a dog. He is a Scottish Terrier and is 1 year old. He is the sweetest thing ever. I found him on KSL and ended up calling the owner. Come to find out he had already been sent to the animal shelter and that is were we ended up getting him. The previous owner met us there to have us meet and make sure we were a good match. We instantly feel in love with him and he loved us as well. It was an instant connection. We are happy to have Houston in our family and look forward to many fun times and years with him.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mom's. Here are a few pictures from Mother's day at my Grandparents house in Lehi. Grandpa Schumann got new baby chickens and Gracie went nuts over them. She would kiss them and just pack them around like a baby doll. It was so cute. I have never seen her smile that big in her life. Hayli's friend Makena came with us and the kids really had fun with the animals and family. We had b-b-q pork chops with potato salad, pasta salad, green salad and baked beans. After dinner we had dessert and there was 2 different kinds of chocolate cake and lemon bars, chocolate chip cookies and strawberry shortcake. OHHH IT WAS GOOD!!!
